NB Fasaneri has it own breeding material

-NB laid and hatched during the season of 2006 about 10 000 pheasants and partridges and will increase production in 2007.

-NB
collect eggs from their own breeding material (part of it from wild birds).

-NB is one of the facilities which has been approved by the County Administrative Board  for keeping wild birds in captivity.

- One of the breeding primary goals is to supply strong and reproductive birds.

- The company has a long-term vision for its activity and gladly listens to you and your requests as a customer.

The season for breeding of pheasants and partridges has its different phases, which easiest can be divided into months.

The numbers are collected from NB Fasaneri & Konsult’s sales statistics.

"The chicken room" as I prefer to call the up starting rooms, they are built for 1600 chicks/occasion. The most chicks are sold when they are between six and eight weeks old.

Methods/usage for chickens:

Pheasants

  • Witch hunts 60%
  • Dog training 28%
  • Reintroduce 12%

Partridges

  • Hunt 40%
  • Dog training 60%
  • Reintroduce 10%

February: Change of food for “pheasant breed”.
March: Partridges are mating.
April: Collecting the first eggs. There are variations depending on when the spring arrives.
May: The hatching of the first litter for the year.
June: At June 1 the one-year old hens are released.
July: Chicken care.
August: The last reserved birds leave the facility around August 20.
September - January: The bird's have winter break, before they start up next year's egg production.

8 weeks pheasants and partridges are ready for delivery the following dates (update on specific date available when season starts):

One year old pheasants and partridges are delivered from 
June 1.

If you would like to have domestic chickens together with your delivery of pheasants that can be arranged, but you need to let us know. This is only applicable when you order more than 100 pheasants.

Value Added Tax is included in all prices.

How does it work when to buy game birds?

- To make sure to get birds on time you have to book already in Mars - April.

- When you place your order you need to let us know when you would like to have your birds delivered during the season.

- If you call us or go to the website in the middle of May you will be able to get an exact date of delivery.

- When you are coming to pick-up your birds they will be delivered to you in special boxes for transportation of birds.
